Both Angkor Tiger and NagaWorld FC have announced the signing of new foreign players for the upcoming Cambodian Premier League, which is due to announce its fixture list tomorrow.

Angkor Tiger Sign Filipino Full-back


Tiger are according to Kingdom of Football signing promising 21 year old Filipino full-back Pocholo Arellano Bugas. The player last played for United City in his home country, as well as impressing for the Philippines in both the 2022 AFF Under 22 Championship, as well as the 2023 SEA Games, both held in Cambodia. He is also a full international for his country.
This marks the first major signing for Siem Reap based Angkor Tiger, who have seen a number of top players leave since the end of last season. Tiger finished second last of the CPL last season and fans will no doubt hope that this is the first of many signings for Alistair Heath’s side.

NagaWorld fill foreigner quota


Naga, who were unlucky to come runners-up in the recent League Cup have filled their foreigner quote with the signing of Kyrgyzstan defensive-midfielder Bektur Amangeldiev.
Amangeldiev who was last seen playing for was last seen playing in India before hoist arrival in Cambodia and will no doubt add more depth to a side many see as dark horse content for the CPL this season.
