Angkor Tiger are set to sign Sun Rozak from champions Phnom Penh Crown in the hopes of boosting their slightly weak midfield.
The player, who has struggled to get into the Crown first team was rumored to be signing for Tiger’s city rivals Angkor City FC prior to the news.

Who is Sun Rozak?
He is a talented central-midfielder who has been part of the PPC academy, as well as having made senior appearances for the club in the League Cup, a competition Crown have won two years on the bounce.
Sadly for Rozak first team performances have been hard with Crown’s main players rarely getting injured, as well as the fact that the club have such strength in depth.
What does it mean for Angkor Tiger?
Tiger have been not only quiet, but some might say too conservative in the transfer market this season. The club lost 3 of the best forwards in the league last year, with fans largely feeling that the new signings are not to the qualify of what is required in the CPL.

With that in mind the signing of Rozak while welcomed is probably not a big enough coup to avoid the club probably facing a very tough fight against relegation.
In this instance “going the way of Soltilo” might simply mean getting relegated to CP, rather than anything more sinister….
