Boeung Ket FC have announced the signing of English central midfielder Luke Stokoe as they aim to challenge for the 2023-24 Cambodian Premier League.

Who is Luke Stokoe
A talented 21 year old central midfielder who can also play wide, as well as in a more attacking position, he has previously played for Oxford City, as well as most recently Corinthian Casuals of the Isthmian League South, both in England. The Isthmian League South marks the 8th tier in the English football pyramid.
According to the club the players is seen as an exciting prospect who is expected to go straight into the team.
Can Boeung Ket challenge?
Despite being the last club aside from Phnom Penh Crown to win the league in 2020 the club have largely failed to ti impress over the last two seasons, topping out at 4th place in 2022.

The club do though boast a number of national teams players, as well as still having two foreigner spots available for the coming season, with fans hopeful of not only more signings, but of the club genuinely challenging for the title this season.
