The end of the month is here and it’s been a really great start to the season with record numbers attending games, watching online and in general taking an interest. Here at BPVE Charlie Pomroy is giving his monthly analysis for CPL in August.
Best Team So Far ..
Despite losing on Sunday to Boeung Ket, I still feel Vishaka are the team playing the best football so far. Crown are obviously the team to beat and Svay Rieng have been great but Vishaka for me are the team showing some real cutting edge.
Most Influential Player
Yudi at Crown is without doubt the most influential player of any team. His calmness and composure in any situation make him irreplaceable.
Best Game So Far…
Prey Veng vs Nagaworld was amazing way to open the League season. Prey Veng are seriel entertainers and often can’t defend for toffee but are irresistible going forward.
Biggest Shock…
Prey Veng smashing ISI by five. Where did it come from?
Watch Out For … .
Boeung Ket. they’re coming good!!
Wooden Spoon… .
ISI playing well but losing. Tiger are poor. Oriol signed for Siem Reap United, conveniently placed to take over if things should get worse for Tiger.
