The Cambodian national team led by Felix Dalmas are set to take on the Hong Kong national team at the National Olympic Stadium tonight, with a bumper crowd expected to be in attendance.

The friendly match will be the national teams first game since their 15th June unlucky loss to Bangladesh, the first for the full team under new coach Felix Dalmas.
It is the first of two matches being held during the International break, before they take on the other SAR of China, Macao.
What are the Cambodia’s chances?
Despite being a friendly match Cambodia will be hoping for not just a victory, but a good one at that. Not only has Coach Felix yet to win a full match since his return to the top job, but Cambodia have never beaten Hong Kong, despite playing 5 times, two stats Cambodia would undoubtedly like to rectify tonight.
From a standings point of view though Hong Kong are ranked far higher than Cambodia, being 149th, while Cambodia are at 176 in the official FIFA rankings.
Speaking exclusively to BPVE about bud thoughts for the match head coach Felix Dalmas stated “Playing against strong teams are the types of challenges that we want to take on in order to improve. Of course we want to win, but that’s not the only indicator of improvement. We are getting better everyday—I can see it. Above all, we will do our best to represent the Cambodian jersey”
And the BPVE prediction? 2-0 to Cambodia.
Tickets for the match are available at the stadium and are expected to be sold until kick-off.
