The Cambodian women’s basketball team have qualified for the 4th Asian Para Games according to a communique sent by the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF).
The announcement comes following their successful completion of a training camp in Thailand that was sponsored by both Prince Foundation and Cambodian Airways.

The release, which was signed by Don Perriman Secretary-General International Wheelchair Basketball Federation – Asia Oceania Zone further explained that the team were now welcome to “Register for the games according to the time lines established by the LOC of the games – HAPGOC”
When are the games?
The 4th Asian Para Games are due to take place in Hangzhou, China from October 20th -28th 2023.with having recently fully reopened to travelers from abroad.

The women’s basketball team will take part in the upcoming ASEAN Para Games in Cambodia where they are highly fancied to pick up a medal.
The ASEAN Para Games will be held in Phnom Penh fromJune3rd-9th following the competition of the SEA Games also being held in the country.
