Cambodia League Two is finally back this weekend and the longest wait ever recorded wait for a season is over. TV rights were announced yesterday and with every game being shown on TV it means we’re back to where we were three years ago but this time with less teams. If the 8 teams in the league, 3 are reserve teams and of course there is National Academy all of whom cannot get promoted. Life FC, Angkor City, Police & Siem Reap FC will fight it out for the promotion spot.
Saturday
The opening game will be a massive one seeing 2 of the promotion hopefuls going head to head when Life FC face Angkor City. Police have the most experience and are title favorites of the 4 wanting promotion. They take on Tiffy Army.
Sunday
Siem Reap FC will host the National Academy who are unfortunate to have to return back next week to play ACFC. Two away trips in the opening two weeks to Siem Reap means they pulled the short straw for sure.
Monday
ISI (B) take on Vishaka (B) on Monday night with both teams wanting to get off to a good start.
It’ll be hard to predict who will play and what kind of line up they will have for both of these teams, their senior teams will take priority so it’s anyone’s guess as to how serious they will take each game.
