If it seems like it took us a long time to get to CPL Match Day 1, that is because it did. With an 8 month gap, partly due to the SEA Games and partly due to restructuring, Cambodian fans have been devoid of domestic top tier football.

CPL Match Day 1 Fixtures
At the wishes of the clubs games will not just be played on Saturday, but also Sundays. This will mean that fans will get lots of chances to see more than one match, particularly with not all clubs having floodlights.
Saturday 5th August

How do I watch CPL Match Day 1 2023?
There is BTV and Facebook streaming, and of course there are sports bars like the Big Easy. The best way to watch Cambodian football though is at the stadium.

Watching a CPL match is actually pretty easy, particularly if you are in Phnom Penh. Tickets cost just a few dollars and are rarely sold out. You simply have to go along to the match.
Which Cambodian side you wish to follow is obviously another matter….
