Another exciting week is upon us with so much football happening it’s impossible to be doing anything else. AFF semi finals today and the final this weekend, jubilation as Crown are drawn in AFC group and of course the draw for League Two also coming after a year away.
Saturday 26th August
Just the one game again this Saturday but it’s a cracker and it’s in the evening. ISI face Svay Rieng at the AIA Stadium. ISI have been a mixed bag so far, their worst performance was the game they won against Tiger on the opening day. Smashed by Prey Veng which was so unexpected and then losing to Vishaka last weekend is no disgrace. They will have to find a way to hold down Haber who has 5 goals already to his name. Svay Rieng started away at Army and then played crown and Nagaworld so to have three wins from three is incredible.
Sunday 27th August
The two afternoon games feature Tiger hosting Tiffy Army in a game they will hope to win if they’re not to finish in the bottom three. Their home form is key. Kirivong will want to bounce back at home to Prey Veng who are getting stronger and stronger with every game.
Then onto the evening and two mouth watering games as Nagaworld host Crown. Naga will have faced all three title rivals on the opening four games after this and to have zero points against them will suggest that any talk over the summer of a title challenge is premature. Boueng Ket will play Vishaka in a tie they will hope to continue to defy odds. They were good against Crown, beat Tiger like they should and drew with Prey Veng which is below their desired standard. Vishaka are top of the pile right now and will take some stopping.
