Young attacking midfielder Denilson Rodrigues Roldão has joined reigning champions Phnom Penh Crown according to a press release from the club.
The signing adds extra depth to Crown and completes what is currently looking like the most exciting and unbeatable team in the Kingdom. According to sources within the club this will likely be their last major signing before the end of the window

Who is Denilson Rodrigues Roldão?
A young Brazilian colloquially known as Denilson, he began his career in the youth setup at legendary Brazilian giants Fluminese. He was though unable to break into the full team and then entered into somewhat of a journeyman career.
After leaving Brazil he has had spells in Asia and Portugal before now arriving at Phnom Penh Crown as a free agent.
Still young at just 23, he represents the desire of the Cambodian Premier League to be bringing in new young talent that can be developed, rather than aging former stars. Alas at less of a budget than Saudi Arabia.

Where will he fit in at Crown?
With six foreigners now allowed and the strength of the PPC squad there is of course no guarantee that he will start, but the prospect of having some Brazilian flair as a foil for Nieto will no doubt have not gone unnoticed by Coach Oleg.

Will this make the difference for Crown? Obviously it is too early to tell, but after winning the unofficial 2023 Championship AKA the League Cup, as well as the Super Cup, it is the competition currently chasing Crown, rather than the other way around.
