Cambodian e-sports team the Angkor Warriors have qualified for the IESF World E-sports championship to be held in Iasi, Romania.

The Road to Romania
To qualify the team defeated their Nepali opponents 2-0 in the last round of the Gamers 8 IESF Asian Championship at Mobile Legend: Bang Bang in group A on July 11.
The Asian Championships were held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, a country only open to outside visitors within the last 5 years.

The Gamers 8 IESF Asian Championship acts as a qualifier for the IESF 15th World Esports Championships 2023, to take place in the aforementioned Romania. The Cambodians booked their place via a second placed finish in Group A.
IESF World E-Sports Championship
The IESF World Esports Championship 2023 will take place from August to September 3rd and will feature 24 teams.
The rest of the qualifiers have already been confirmed, with the last 6 from the Asia Pacific region making up the balance of teams.
The total price pot for the competition is $100,000, with prizes split among the top four teams.
