With the Cambodian Premier League (CPL) start still over a month away we football lovers have the Hun Sen Cup to keep us entertained.
Currently we are in week 9 of the provincial qualifiers, which will be followed by the provincial finals and then the big boys joining the fray. It is hoped that with this being the first year foreign players have been allowed to take part in the cup, that this will be the most completive competition to date.

Week 9 saw few big guns take part, save former CPL 2 side Banteay Meanchey, but it did serve up plenty of goals.

How can I watch the Hun Sen Cup?
Principal rounds of the Hun Sen Cup are usually played at schools and can be watched live for free. Highlights can also be seen on BTV, who will also be screening the CPL as of the 2023-24 season.
