Kirivong Sok Sen Chey might have finished bottom of the CPL, but not only have they retained top flight status, but things are really looking up for the Takeo based side.

Kirivong recent form
Last place is last place and that is where the club finished. Luckily for them the CPL in its wisdom decided there would be no relegation and that they would promote teams randomly.
Previously you’d have expected the team to struggle, but they played great in reaching the league cup semi-final and can be confident going into the 2023-24 season.

Kirivong Stadium
One of the worst stadiums in the CPL, which throws into question why EDC FC were essentially forced out of business in part because of their stadium.
Officially it holds 500 people, but with three empty sides capacity is a bit of a misnomer. There are talks of them building a new ground. Did we mention it is in Takeo?
Who is the Kirivong Coach?
Managed by Sabine Venta who joined the club after their last placed finish. And it is so far so good with him qualifying for the league cup semi-final unexpectedly.
Top Players
The current marquee player is well traveled Yannick who can always be relied upon to score goals. At the back Cambodian star Nub Tola is the only other real player worthy of a mention.

Kirivong 2023-24 Expectations?
Not coming last is basically the plan and with the league now at 10 clubs this is a possibility, although not necessarily likely.
