Essentially, or in theory at least the play-off for 4th and 5th in the group. Timor-Leste needed a victory to stand any hopes of progressing, while Myanmar wanted to start on a nigh. In the end Myanmar got the result in what was an extremely dull game.

First-half – Myanmar 0 Timor-Leste 0
In a first half that was largely devoid of any excitement a sheet of paper could have separated the teams. Either side could have theoretically taken the lead, realistically neither looked like they could be bothered to.
It is telling that the highlight of the first-half was when Timor-Leste brought on captain and play-maker Mouzinho, thus bringing in to question why he has not started either of their first two matches. Politics? Injury? It was certainly not a football decision.
Second-half – Myanmar 1 Timor-Leste 0
Both teams came out grudgingly in the same style as the first, with the mid-day sun not exactly inspiring anyone to play football. The deadlock though was broken in the 72nd minute when Thet Hein Soe scored a simple goal from close range.
This at least fired up Timor, who had a number of late attacks, mostly driven by Mouzinho, and the equally promising and quick Alexandro Kefi, but alas it was too little too late for Timor-Leste and the best they can hope for now is avoiding the wooden spoon.
Myanmar 1 Timor-Leste 0 – What does it mean?
Tmor-Leste are out, bar a 2 game winning streak and all results going their way. Myanmar on the other hand are one for one, but with their next game against Indonesia do not expect this to last for long.
Ironically Myanmar will at least get to play king, or rather queen maker with their ties against Cambodia and the Philippines probably deciding second place.
