Top Cambodian Premier Legate (CPL) sides Phnom Penh Crown are to tour Thailand as part of preparations for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
As part of the tour Phnom Penh Crown will play four training matches against local sides Suphanburi, Port FC, and Ratchaburi, as well as Hong Kong Rangers.
PKR Svay Rieng will play just two matches, against against Police Tero and Samut Prakan.
How have they gone so far?
Current champions Phnom Penh Crown won their opening match 3-0, courtesy of Pun Vuthy, Rafael Nieto, and Shintaro Shimizu.
PKR Svay Rieng also opened with a 3-0 victory against Police Tero, with goals from Gabriel Silva Costa, Koch Dani, as well as an own goal.
Thailand is a popular destination for Cambodian clubs, both for proximity and style of play, with the Thai league being of a higher standard then the CPL.
