After becoming one of the go to places for football news in Cambodia the popular football
channel has launched a football showcase.
Phnom Penh, 1st June, 2023
KOF Today launched their Football Showcase with players from all over the world joining up
to Showcase themselves to CPL Clubs and beyond. It will be the first opportunity of its kind
in Cambodia and they are planning it to be a regular part of the football calendar.
The showcase will give Free Agents the opportunity to test themselves against the clubs
while hoping to be the next star of the Cambodian Leagues.
The Showcase will give CPL clubs a chance to see foreign players directly rather than
having to trust highlight videos or recommendations.
● Players have joined from all the world including Ghana, Ethiopia, UK, USA and
Russia.
● KOF have also given a number of spots available to Cambodian Free Agents.
● The Showcase Team will take on three teams – Prey Veng, Boeung Ket and Next
Step.
“When we started KOF we always received many requests from foreign players taking an
interest in how they could come to play football in Cambodia. Our Showcase gives players
that opportunity and a chance to break into the Asian football market. We are realistic though
and whatever the end result for the players they will leave our programme in a better position
and with a better profile. For the clubs we do hope that all will take an interest and see our
event as a regular part of the calendar that can be part of their recruitment plans.‘’

high levels, while others are starting their journeys. We have had two training sessions and
we are really looking forward to testing ourselves against the CPL Clubs. We also would like
