In anticipation of the SEA Games coming very soon here in Cambodia, our football experts here at BPVE will be giving fans an in depth profile of each nation and what they can expect to see from them this summer.



Expectations are low and no one will see Laos as any kind of threat for a medal however they won’t be there making up the numbers either.

This generation of Laos players is a massive improvement on what’s come before them and there is optimism that in a few years they could be a threat.


Drawn in the group of the death they can expect their tie against Singapore to be the one they can get something from.


Phetdavanh Somsanid, the 18 year old center back is a class above and many predicting he’ll be moving onto bigger and better things one day.
