The Tennis Cambodia scene
This marks the first medal for Tennis Cambodia in the 2023 SEA Games, although with the competition far from over there is hope that it will not be the last of the medals.
Cambodian tennis has been going through a sort of renaissance over the last few years, with the sport being not only more successful, but also more popular than it has ever been.
Tennis Cambodia are sponsored by Golden Cambodia Century Group, as well as ABA bank, with this help leading the Kingdom to an unprecedented promotion in the Davis Cup last year, a success Team Cambodia are clearly building upon in the current SEA Games.
They were also arguably one of the best dressed teams within the competition while sporting their new attire provided to them by up and coming apparel designer Desportol.
