WeWatch partners with Next Step FC to promote Cambodian sports

Leading digital entertainment platform WeWatch have signed a partnership with up and coming football team Next Step FC, as part of their commitment to supporting local sports and increasing its exposure in the region.

They will be celebrating the partnership by streaming the Cambodia Versus Myanmar football game live via the WeWatch platform on May 10th at Pomme in Siem Reap,which will be attended by the Next Step FC Team, WeWatch and the wider sports community.

Sarah Wang, the CEO of WeWatch, said, “We are thrilled to partner with Next Step Football Club to support Cambodian sports and provide a platform for the country’s talented athletes to showcase their skills, especially during the SEA Games.”

WeWatch will be providing free meals for the Next Step FC team, as well as opening the event for anyone to join for free who wants to come and cheer on Cambodia in the exciting SEA Games fixture.

The partnership between Next Step Football Club and WeWatch is an exciting development for the sports community in Cambodia. It represents the growing commitment from the private sector in supporting home-grown sports and creating opportunities for young athletes to develop their skills and compete at the highest level.

Charlie said, “it’s a really exciting time in Cambodian sport and as a club we have definitely noticed the benefit of working with partners to help grow what we are doing here. We have lots of idea’s and a tonne of energy, and we look forward to turning that into a mutually beneficial partnership.”

The event is open to the public and anyone is welcome to attend, with attendees encouraged to wear their favourite sports team outfit. The event will start at 6:30pm with photographs taking place at 6:45pm before the match starts at 7pm.
